Hehe.. I admit, I am skipping several days.. I have no excuse!
My obsession with stippling continues.. I find it a very good way to shade with markers or pens because I suck at hatching or cross hatching. This time, I decided to had a dash of watercolor washes.. and to my surprise, the marker I used to outline the clouds wasn’t waterproof! But I actually like the bleeding effect. Maybe I can learn to use that more effectively..

More thin lines but this time I added some additional color with color pencils! woot!
Where are the bold outlines, you ask? Mwahaha.. I wanted to do something different and the pattern of the paper required some delicacy, so I decided to go with just thin lines. I like them, so there!
I’m going bold again. This actually looks better digitized and displayed on a website than it does in person.. strange how that works, eh?
I ALMOST forgot last night to do some sort of art. Phew~
Man, it shows when your heart’s not into it.. Although I don’t think it’s bad, it’s not good either. Just meh. And I guess I’m not sick of these just yet.
This was a soothing exercise… I really felt like just putting sharp spears at the top of the stems, instead of jolly, round balls of flowers. But I didn’t.
I think, next time, I’ll start varying the line weight. -_-;; Are you getting bored with these? I think I am.
Here is my creation of the day.
Ever since I visited Portland’s Chinese Garden, I’ve been thinking that lilypads are such interesting shapes to work with. I took plenty of pictures of them, too, but never did anything with them, until now! 
This piece took more time than the previous two, and I used a lot more variety of patterns. Without the bold outlines, this composition would fall apart, for sure.
Continuing on with the theme of bold lines and shapes..
This time, it’s all about black-and-white. I got the patterns from various magazines and clothing catalogues. Good thing I saved them! I can’t help it.. I’m such a sucker for patterns. And I realized, I really love cutting papers! Something about it feels really satisfying. Should I be concerned?? *shrug*
My 2006 (and 2005, I think) resolution of creating something every day miserably failed. So I’m giving it another chance this year.
This time, I’m going to be bold! Bold shapes, bold lines! Nobody can stop me now! -_-;;
