I beat Loco Roco

Friday, September 29th, 2006

About a week and a half ago, I beat Loco Roco, and I have to say, I was disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, I had tons of fun playing the game but I expected a lot more worlds to explore. At the end of the last stage in the last world, I thought, “What, that’s it?” It was very anticlimactic. *Sigh* The game does have plenty of replay value. I still have many stages I’d like to get perfect scores in. Not that I just zipped right through the game.. the average number of locorocos I collected in each stage is about 18. Not bad, I’d like to think. But those muimui guys.. some of them are quite elusive!

No new PSP game for me to play :(
But I’ll take comfort in these:

I got these promotional cellphone straps at a store (I won’t mention details, don’t want anybody getting in trouble). Matt and I happened to see them on display and asked if they were for sale. They said no but they were nice enough to just give them to us for free. Whee~ I want more Loco Roco merchandises! Check out this picture on flickr. You can see in the background all kinds of stage designs.

What now that I beat Loco Roco? Well, nowadays, I’m into Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. I know, it’s not such a new game but it’s still very enjoyable. Be sure to click the link! The website’s navigation is designed like a pop-up book. Very cool..

I must go to L.A.

OMG.
Remember the exhibit I really wanted to go to few months ago? Well, guess what? They’re doing it again. With a twist. One of my all time favorite illustrators, Yoko Tanji, will be there as well! This is just too much. I MUST go. Arrrrrrgh!!! And this time, I will get some of their prints. 必ず。(via Enrico’s blog)

Yesterday, I received the latest catalog from Anthropologie and I screamed like a, uh.. I don’t know, a crazy girl when I saw this:
BTs in Anthro
Aren’t they the cutest things?
Of course, I am talking about the dogs. They look just like our FiFi!! My sister would argue that they don’t but their expressions are just like FiFi’s.
Okay, that’s all I wanted to write about. :P
