Sketchbook 2007.02.24

Hehe.. I admit, I am skipping several days.. I have no excuse!
Clouds

My obsession with stippling continues.. I find it a very good way to shade with markers or pens because I suck at hatching or cross hatching. This time, I decided to had a dash of watercolor washes.. and to my surprise, the marker I used to outline the clouds wasn’t waterproof! But I actually like the bleeding effect. Maybe I can learn to use that more effectively..

    There’s this Korean artist who draws with only ball point pen. I think you can find him drawing on YouTube. Pretty neato. Reminds me of my bored school days in Korea, hahaha.

    ball poin pens, i remember, were very popular with guys at my art school..
